Very interesting. I really like the look you're going for. Love the grain. Not so much the color, but I know that's just me. I think it would work just a teensy bit better for me if the whites were just a touch less glaringly white. They're almost painful. But then it makes it feel like noon in the hot sun which adds to the atmosphere.

I'm thinking you got your pic in a similar way. Though my pic was under exposed beyond hope. I brought it into photoshop and played around with the levels until i could see something,then i used some filters, added a sepia tone and thats pretty much it. How about you?
