I don't know whay I like it either but I do. It must have to do with the bird all alone in the corner and the trees in the background adding alot.

I know why I like it. It is that BIRD!. Generally I have a problem with animal photos. (they are a dime a dozen here in the high country). This fella seems to be the master of all he survey's. I keep telling the wife that we are moving to the city of angels. She cringes, and tells me to have another beer.

The DOF is excellent and the colors are nice too. What really makes me like this picture is the intense looking of the bird into the unknown. Really makes your mind wonder what is off to the side.

That and for a change the sea gull does not appear to be the most annoying bird in the face of the planet...
