What do you think of the perspective?

It takes you down the sidewalk and right out of the frame. There isn't anything to hold interest, at least not mine.

Agree with Ken; it really someone or something on that tar snake to act as the focal point.

Considering Santa Fe has so much interesting things to shoot, I have to agree with the others.

Thanks all..... I was torn on it - that tar snake is actually water running and is why I thought it may be interesting when I composed it. It was a rainy dull day a month ago during monsoons.

I think we're all in agreement that the perspective takes you on a trip to nowhere. An interesting composition needs to have the lines lead somewhere other than out of the frame; ideally the lines should lead you to the subject you want us to focus on. Contrast lacks punch also. sorry. this one is a miss.
