This, believe it or not, is an Hospital. It was founded in 1904 to fight against tuberculosis, a disease that was quickly spreading across Europe by that time. This is considered national patrimony and it's located in a suburb of Cascais (a village outside the capital Lisbon), in Parede, Portugal. The security was very nice and promptly let me in to take some shots.

So it is not an abandoned hospital? It is still working?
What steps do you take in order to create your HDRs?

It's still a working hospital yes.
As for the steps, it kinda depends on the picture. But normally I don't use tripod because I don't have one, so auto-bracketing on for the 3 different exposures, zeroing everything on lightroom, exporting as tiff to photomatix, tonemapping there, loading it into photoshop and do some editing.
