So he's obviously using the tip of an at least 30 ft tall light post to hold himself up 5 feet above the ground? How does that work? I don't think he could possibly be as balanced as he is in the photo. As tall as the light poles are, he'd be dangling more then that if he was holding on to the tip of a light pole one handed

I like the second one because it has some interesting lighting and I like the irony in the signs; 'no skateboarding', 'slow', 'one way'. And the 'have a nice day' to cap it off.

The other two don't do much for me. #1 the trick is okay but the photo as a whole is average - distracting elements, particularly the aforementioned light pole, also the grumpy looking guy in the background doesn't help.
#3 has many issues, mainly the background but also the flat boring light, blown out sky, and the trick doesn't look that impressive.

Overall, the second one is the best one, but I feel they are all a bit dark, and the backgrounds are too cluttered (except for #2). I would like to use some fill light (not necesarily a flash, but at least a reflector) to brighten the main subjects, and would choose my background more carefully. I also find that for most skateboard tricks, sequences work better, as it is hard to understand what is going on (what the trick is) with a frozen image (except for rail slides down handrails or similar, and jumps, either vert or launch ramps, which tend to look great as a single image). I would also like to get a grittier look to the images, as it lends well to the subject. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents, and I doubt I would have gotten better shots if I tried myself... The last time I took skateboarding shots was about 16 or 18 years ago!
