SB800 or SB600

OK Definitely down for the SB600. If im'm going to use this off camera do I need to get triggers or can I simply shoot with it off camera?

Well you have commander mode on your camera so you don't really need triggers yet.

Also, what is this about the d50 not having a commander mode? I just read somewhere that it did. Haven't tried it becasue I don't own another flash, but, that's news to me..

no the D50 doesnt, im pretty sure

the D70s does though
