This is a truly fantastic, huge used bookstore (close to the best I've ever been in) in very rural New York State about 5 miles from Hudson New York back off any real street on a dirt road in the woods.
The owner was an editor in New York and came up to the woods 20+ years ago and started this store. People come from 30 or 40 miles away to buy and sell books.
The dog used to sleep in the small front room in front of the wood-pellet stove but died a year or so ago at age 17.

We go there every time we visit my daughter and son-in-law who have a home nearby and always come away with a trunk full.

That's a nice story about the dog, small things like this are what help to give such places their special character. Keep filling your boot!
