I am partial to the rose neck colored bird.
Was this a lake or did you travel to the coast?

Thank you very much. The rose neck colored bid is a juvenile tricolored heron and I believe the bird in the last pic is a common, non breeding, tern but I'm not 100% on that but it fits the description.
