Okay, so I gave cloning a try, and failed.

However, I found a way around it by layering the original over and painting in the grass.

Here is the clone job:

Floating boat and buildings gone.

This is what I did:

I am not really sure what I think about the results, tbh. But I learned something.

When I used the clone tool itself, it looked really terrible, especially up close. That tool is just not my friend. But the alternate cloning mechanism worked pretty well, I think.

I can only see it on my phone, but looks like you did a good job. This little experiment could lead to many hours of goofing around with PS that you never planned for

I like this and think a square crop would Really work here. Removing the house on the left and coming in a little bit tighter.

It looks cooler than I imagined. You need some shadow beneath the boat and a little wake behind the motor. FWIW, I think i like it better with the farmhouse.
I tinkered with the shadows but I'm sure you could do better.

Thanks, Mike! Did you use the burn tool for the shadow?

I used the paint brush color brownish with a real low opacity.
