I agree with Ecko. First shot is nice and sharp but the composition doesn't do much for it. I'm not even going to tell you to straighten your horizon in that second shot, because this is one of those cases where it actually helps the composition - it makes me feel like the bird is going somewhere. If it has been tilted the other direction though, it wouldn't have worked.
I see. Thank you guys for the comments. Personally saying, I like the second one more. The reason I uploaded the first one was that I love the color and sharpness of the picture. I know that the composition of the first one was a little bit off. lol
hot damn that's sharp! which camera body did you use? i tried shooting seagulls in mid-air with my 28-135 mounted on my T2i and i could never get focused shots. :banghead:
@NayLoMo6C: Hi, I'm using 60D with 24-105 F4L. This lens has a very fast auto-focus. I've used a sigma 18-200 IS, the image quality was not too bad, but the auto-focus on that lens is really really slow and inaccurate.
