I took this photo of some seagulls at the Isle of Palms down in South Carolina. Tamron 75-300 mm Telephoto Lens with Sony a230 DSLR. Let me know what you think!

#1 as a lot of potential. I would crop the left side to get rid of the cut seagulls and get rid of the vignetting (personnal taste, I don't like vignetting, it's up to your preference).
#2 as potential for a great shot. By any chance would you be able to get a little more on the right and top? It would be nice to see more were the seagull is going than the post. The colours are once again a little to cold to my taste. Outside that, it's the best of the series.
#3 It's a little busy on the right. I would crop the sidewalk. Your horizon is not straight and the colours are a little too cold. Nice bridge though (did my undergrad in civilian engineering!)

First is best.....
Third needs tilt correction
Second and also need tone down on blue
third can be an excellent abstract in B&W
I think you have a style of your own your points of view is different than point of facts

That second one is an accident! :) The bird actually flew off into the harbor. Would have been amazing! I might remove the vignetting on the first one just to see. I can tone down the blue and see how they turn out. I have the RAW images. If I do, I will be sure to post them here!

I see what you mean. Here is another one of a bird that actually turned out to be one of the people or bench. Closer to black and white...

This one is good; experimentation with such ideas can bring great results
