Nice set but could use a little NR.
Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you, however, I'm always a little hesitant to us NR because I always lose some of the detail in the pictures. Do you happen to know of a way to clear some of that up but not sacrifice details in the feathers?

Judging by pics 2,3, and 4, I personally would cut back on the sharpening and anything else that tends to sharpen because that's what is causing the "pattern of noise" that I'm seeing in pics 2,3, and 4. It's a pattern that looks like little dotted squares, they develop when you go too hard on sharpening. In certain instances, pulling back on the crop and reducing the size can help to make any noise less noticeable and make detail appear sharper.

*I use Topaz Studio 2 and I've learned that relying more on 'micro detail' and 'micro contrast' to make something look better/sharper keeps the noise down and if any sharpening is still needed not a much is needed and therefore helps to keep the noise down. I hope that helped.

great set. i like 4 & 5, but the exposure seems a little hot. i'll second topaz for noise reduction. it does a great job of reducing noise while keeping details sharp.

Another vote for Topaz De-Noise. Great tool but easy to over do. It doesn't need much on the sliders.
