Seascape shot, need editing ideas?

I took this shot about half an hour ago, I like the outcome and think it has potential in Photoshop. Despite having a reasonable knowledge of Photoshop I can never think of ideas to make it 'stand out'.
I'm not asking you to edit this for me, I'm only asking for ideas as how it can be improved and how you'd go about editing this shot. If you do want to edit this shot please do.

It looks under exposed to me. The sky to me says that this should be bright, sort of like a high key type.

Bring the white point down to about 225.

Select the sky and bump up the saturation.

Select the ground and brighten it, using the Curves.

While I am sure Sparkys edit would work for most people. THIS is what I would have done, depeding on how many beers I had. I love this shot, by the way! All done with photomatix.

For me, this image is about form and not as much about color. Color is there, but i think the form of the river against the sky is more interesting. I'm almost thinking b/w.

Thanks for all the feedback, Tee: Horizon was leveled in the camera, don't want to be wasting pixels these days, D90 doesn't give you many to begin with. Thanks for the edit sparky and Parker, both work in there own way. I would have done much the same thing, It's just when I spend time on one image I begin to doubt it, don't know whether that's just me.
