today i purchased my 50 mm lens for my d40x and this is one of the first pictures i took with it,i didnt use the flash and there was hardly any light in the room and c&c would be apreciated

looks pretty good... i wouldnt recommend using a flash when shooting a lit up christmas tree anyways

It almost looks HDR-ish.

My only complaint is the all the wires under the tree. And it just seems like it needs more to the picture, like some presents, kids, something.

lol,my wife and son were putting up the tree and i was playing with the new lens,so the tree was not done yet
