Select color with motorsports

Well I just learned how to do select color work with the Gimp and I think it looks cool but I like to get some feed back. I need to work on doing a frame with shots like this next lol. Thanks for the CC.

I dont really like selective color for the most part. It works well on these though because the images are not tightly cropped, so it focuses your attention accordingly.
