Selective Sharpening, Gimp vs CS5

I've recently migtrated from Gimp to CS5 and one of the few things I miss about Gimp is the powerful edge finding tool. In Gimp I am able to choose between 3 a few different edge algorithms and also adjust parameters. Very useful for creating masks for selective sharpening of edges without a minimum of brush work. The edge finder in CS5 seems much more rudimentary. Am I missing something? I'm about to resort to creating my masks in Gimp then importing to CS5.

Sounds like a good idea - if you like gimp, I dont like the interface, but each to their own.
