Most DSLR camera's offer a delayed shutter release.

You push the shutter release button, and 2 or 10 seconds later the shutter releases, giving you time to pose.

Your T2i has a built-in self-timer, so you don't need a remote trigger.

Thanks everyone. I'm very flattered (and not that young LOL).

I did use the self timer but was having a hard time focusing in exactly the spot I wanted to be. That's why I stayed close enough to reach, so that the camera could autofocus.

If I try this again, I will use a marker of some sort to set the focus. Actually, it's a good hair day so maybe I should try it now....
