Photos NOT OK to edit
I got this from playing capture the flag with a bunch of friends last night in the dark...i sprinted right into a little branch and it poked me in the eye

so far i'm feeling fine though, i think i'll live. the actual bruise is under my eyelid, it's just spread to more of my eye.

Yeah, seriously.

That is badass though. I looked at the image and did a double take. :P

Actually, it's not a bad photo. Well exposed, eyecatching (hehe) composition... i like it.

When the viewer misses out on the actual iris and pupil, it makes for quite a great dark-side portrait! Hope everything heals okay, and that future Capture the Flag events are without incidence!

I must mention, I have been noting your wonderful toning (for lack of a better word), now by asking how you do this might be asking too much, but I must state, wow.

Ouch!
That reminds me of the e-mail an old friend of mind once sent to me in which she had to report she had run into a twig in the dark - and totally LOST her eye like that. It did not only get bruised like yours here, it was lost forever. I still get the shivers when I think about it - and your post here and the story that goes with it don´t help my shivers any at all. Whoa!

hah thanks guys :)

i think it's going to be ok...no damage to the cornea or retina, but i do have a larger eye cup than normal, which sometimes leads to glaucoma. i'm working on preventing that though, and i should be fine.
