I think is works very well for remote shutter release, sometimes the app takes a little bit to fully connect like its not instant but once its connected its stays until I exit out by closing the app on the Droid phone. All in all its a joy to use and to lose the wired release that I always thought was a pita to line up the pin connector especially at night which I always had it going the wrong way and had to use a flash light to see the port on the camera body. beside the fact I don't have to be near the camera and don't have to even move to view the picture after on the camera and downloads to the phone pretty quick right after the image is taken is very convenient for viewing. Haven't really checked it out fully yet to see how much control I have over the camera what can or can't be changed from the app but as of right now I thinks its a great app. Had the D7500 for a year and just exploring the SnapBride now.
