Selling my DSLR gear - would like opinions on Leica X2 and Fuji X100, please:)

I have decided to sell my Nikon D700, two lenses, and speedlight simply because they are too bulky and are sitting in my camera bag going unused. I have decided that I want a compact camera, but one that will still produce high quality images. Anyone have any experience with the Leica X2 or the Fuji X100?

These "X" cameras are pretty specialized. They are really intended for people who enjoy street photography, or already have a DSLR but want something less bulky as a second camera.

I think the only compacts that can come close to replacing a DSLR are the NEX and similar APS-C mirrorless. For $2,000 you could get an NEX-7 or X-Pro 1, or X-E1.

The Leica is really just a Kardashian P&S.

Thanks!! I have done a little research on the X-Pro 1 and I'm liking it so far.

I guess Leica wants you to pay for the Leica "name".

I'm sure it's well built, and will be something you could pass on to your grandchildren. But it's still a $2,000 fixed lens camera with slow AF.
