Antigua, Guatemala (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) puts on the largest Easter celebration in The Americas. It’s estimated that around 200,000 people flock to this Colonial gem of a town every year to watch the colorful Semana Santa (Holy Week) celebrations between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

Nice set Philmar. Wish they were numbered to make is a little bit easier to comment on them. My favorites are the b&w ones.

VERY nice set. Thanks for sharing.
#4 takes the prize for me, the one with the guy swinging the censer and holding the little lad by the hand.

Love them. I have been to Guatemala a number of times and have posted pictures during Easter week. You have captured the intensity I captured also. Did you see anything left of the young boy looking intently into the camera in picture # 6?

Thanks - Sorry I don't quite understand the question. Not sure what you mean by 'left'. Do you mean 'to the left' of the boy or do you mean 'remaining' of the boy?

really super shots, great to see, lots of feeling/emotion in the faces

Fantastic shots, as always!
