I seem to remember this location from a recent visit there with a mate of mine
Really beaut location to meander through and enjoy the gardens / scenery

I like #2 - it would be a cracker as a 72" tall wall poster!

Hi Phil,

the location is the gardens of the late Aspro magnate Alfred Nicholas... you may remember
seeing the Art Deco mansion adjacent to the gardens... that I believe he had built in the late 20s.
The mansion has changed hands a few times since and has fallen into disrepair. The gardens however were donated to the shire and are maintained.

Frame 2 needs a fraz more foreground, but couldn't get it in the frame and acquire the top of the Mountain Ash tree as well, even at 15mm... on the X-E3s APS-C sized sensor. I couldn't back up any further either, as that would have had me down an escarpment. I'm going to visit there again however with my ol' FX Nikon D700 lensed with a 14-24 f/2.8... that'l get plenty of the scene in on its bigger sensor.
