Sensor cleaning, Eclipse and Nikon...

baby wipes and compressed air.

Must be the Aloe baby wipes's right? To make the UV filter nice and flexible.

I think he's joking ...

I would hope so, although I've heard of people using some pretty crazy things to clean their sensor.

If not, I will be sure to hold the can of compressed air upside down when drying the aloe off my low pass filter.

joking. totally joking.

Next post from a newbie... dammit I used baby wipes and compressed air on my sensor! :)

Now that you have the D3 it is time to make a baby wipes and compressed air video with the D1.

No, no, no: Top rack of the dishwasher; be sure to use jet-dry.

The Jet dry is a contentions subject. It's about 50/50 as to whether or not to use it with the dishwasher method.

q tips and alcohol swabs and blow it out with my air compresor. But dont listen to me im pretty sure the coating on one of my sensors is coming off in flakes (LEAST i THINK that is why it has pieces looking like its missing on the surface it still shoots though)
