i loved #1! 2,4,5 was a bit out of focus and a bit bright. it must have been a great day to see all the birds and sit by the river or stream. thanks for sharing.

While you did stuggle a bit with your focus and exposure (no wonder in the difficult light you had, bright in parts, very shadowy in others), I really like the action you captured here. We have seen many a pic of super crisp herons standing still, but one doing the dance, hopping along and flying away ... cool!
