Sharp-shinned Hawk adult

Positive ID on this one, Even was able to take a good estimated measurement from one pic (had a known size board in it). This one is about 12" long and is probably the parent of the sub-adult I posted the other day and had so much 'fun' IDing.

This one sat on top of the feeder for 5-6 minutes waiting...then he nailed a sparrow that popped its head out of the jasmine tangle. I've got fish-hooks that probably aren't as sharp as those talons!
