I liked the way the two trees in the foreground look like they were sheltering the smaller trees in the background

it was a really overcast day, making this photo look really bland in B&W and washed out in colour so i added, quite a heavy, orange filter effect in PS to try and save it. does it look ok?

I will have to politely disagree. I think the comp. is great but the coloring bothers me. Maybe a bluish toning would work better? I dunno, just an idea.........

I like it as it is.... got no problem with the orange..think blue would be too obvious... nice one :thumbup:

I like the comp, but as your photo gets more articstic, it becomes what you like and of course it creates opinions. That is always cool!
