Shooting Vertically, ..but files are Horizontal?

I hope this is the correct area for this question as I could find no other Video category. I shoot Vertical video with a phone mounted in a Gimbal, and for some reason when I drag that video file from the phone into my PC's Video folder, that File is always Horizontal? Does anyone know why this would be?

Your phone auto corrects for the orientation?

Video post processing software can correct the orientation.
