in #1, i strongly suggest that you stay away from flash where there are reflective things. it just turns out looking pretty bad. The exposure time was off because you can see a little blur in there feet, but nowhere else. If you were going for a more blurred, motion effect I would suggest a slightly slower shutter to make more of it blurred. If you wanted stop action, id go for at least 1/500th or more, depending on the situation. I can see that it lacks light here but if you bumped up the ISO it may get you enough light. Also, this picture is still a little underexposed.
...Though, I do LOVE the guy giving the thumbs up. made me chuckle
in #2, meh nothing really special about this. my eye has no focal point and it just lacks artistic feel to it. I like the fact that it is all properly exposed. This one just doesnt really have any point of interest to it... the thing on the floor doesnt catch my eye.
