Hi.
I currently have a Sony Cybershot Dsc h20 that is 10xzoom and 10mp. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Nikon Coolpix S9400 for $289usd. Is this a good move? I want to learn photography, but right now don't want a DSLR, but instead would like a "travel zoom" that I can fit in my pocket while walking around the city and still have full manual control. I'd like to stay near $300 usd, and want a good IQ camera with near 20x zoom.
Also, how much difference in IQ will be had from a 10mp camera to a 16 mp?
