Well, the composition actually works. You have leading lines that direct the viewer to the main subject and the sky creates downward movement toward the pigeon. The problem is the exposure. The sky and brown wall are really noisy and the head of the pigeon is flat black.

I really like this one, actually. A little noise reduction could help.

I have mixed feelings. I like the action and the pose of the open wings, but it's a little noisy, it has some halo-ing, and the angle of the brown wall is uncomfortable.

I think it's a pretty cool shot. The only thing, I think that would be better, is if the pigeons face wasn't so black.
