Hello! I'm brand new here and thought I would put together this showcase as an introduction to my photography. Any feedback would be awesome as I haven't really gotten much on any of these. For reference, I have been learning about photography as a hobby for just about a year and shoot in manual. These shots are a selection from the last few months. I shoot with a Canon 20D and a couple of different lenses.. The majority of these are with my Canon 85mm f/1.8 and I've included settings where possible (if I have them on hand, the exif is stripped on a few). They're all formatted slightly differently from different posts on my blog, so just ignore that. Obviously this is too many photos for really specific CC, but any general ideas or critique on a single photo would be great. Thank you for any feedback, and it's nice to "meet" all of you!

1. 85mm, f.2.0, 1/160, ISO 800

2. 85mm, f/2.2, 1/100, ISO 800

5. 30mm, f/2.5, 1/200, ISO 200

6. 10mm, f/4.5, 1/640, ISO 200

7. 10mm, f/8, 1/200, ISO 200

8. 10mm, f/11, 1/400, ISO 200

9. 30mm, f/2.0, 1/500, ISO 800

12. 85mm, f/2.2, 1/200, ISO 100

Thanks again,

wow, #10 is compelling, I love the silhouettes. They seem so odd and interesting.

#11 is great too.
Thank you to the three of you, I appreciate your responses!

Any other feedback? I know I probably don't measure up to most of you, but I'm here to learn! :)
Really nice work. I think you'll find that you most cerainly measure up. You've got a great contemporary style.
I really like 8. I think the crop goes very well with the picture and the back round is very interesting.
You've got some great shots here, especially the B&Ws. Would love to see some more.
Without commenting in detail... there are some great images in there :)
wow! great work!
#'s 1,4,5,8,9,10,11,12 all awesome with # 5 being the best. Wish I got shots like these. I'm what you'd call an accidental photographer, I get good shots by accident mostly (ha ha). You'rs look like their on purpose with excellent subject matter and composition. The most important element of all, your shots trigger emotion. That's where the treasure is. Very good. Very good.
Good piece of work. Plese include your flickr ID. you can see mine in my siggy.
Wow, thank you so much for your comments everyone! I really appreciate it. ToddM - most of mine happen by accident too, unfortunately (or fortunately? Who knows )

I don't actually use flickr, although i did use it to resize these to post. I haven't really browsed it much though, I should!

I do have a blog, sort of a personal/photography mixed thing..
