Sickenly cute critters

Just a couple more I managed to get processed from the zoo walk last weekend. First a swift fox:

And by request a meerkat shot:

And finally, not a zoo shot but again by request, another bison - stopping to smell the roses. Ok, well I don't think their roses.. lol:

That meerkat is outstanding !!!!!!

I love the sleepy look on the first one, that appeals Robbin. Yeah that profile of the Meerkat is the one. Excellent shot and also love the Bison. Man they have a very thick coat, must keep them warm.

All the best up your way Robbin, nice shots.

Danny.

I'll give ya cute on the first two, but bison are anything but cute. Sorry.

Excellent shots, but the meerkat is by far my fav. I'm curious though, is that blackish background natural or done in photoshop? I don't have enough experience to tell the difference, sorry!

Great set

Background is natural, they have the meerkats in the Desert Dome and their enclosure is sort of a cave like setup. Makes for some cool shots but it can be a bit of a challenge from a lighting perspective.
