Sigma 14-24 f2.8 sony vs Tamron 17-28 f2.8

plus the Sigma takes filters

The sigma 14-24 has a domed front element. How are you putting filters on it without a "rig?" Or are you referring to the rear-element filter?

Yes..rear filter. I have a NiSi filter system for my Sigma 20mm but as well as it works it sometimes is just more hassle than it’s worth. I always think twice about packing it up when I go out and shoot. I’ve never been out with a lens that uses rear filters so I can’t speak of actual “work flow” good or bad experience but I’d suspect it’s at least less cumbersome than the NiSi type rigs.

Like I said I really loved what I got out of the 14-24 in not only landscape stuff, but really creative (at least for me) everyday stuff, so rear filters would just be icing on the cake!
