Sigma 28-85 f3.5-5.6 C&C

I recently purchased two old Minolta Maxxum cameras for the lenses. These shots were me testing out one of those lenses on the wife's A35.

This shot is one that was taken with the Sigma 28-85 lens mounted to the A35...

SS= 1/250
AP= f4.5

I think I screwed the pooch with this shot as I had WB manually set at Daylight (-3) which, I think, would explain the excess blue.

This one is the same except the SS is 1/320 and AP is f9

I know I have some pretty harsh shadows on the girls but for now, I'm just playing with the lens to get used to it.

Thoughts on either/both are welcome!

Yeah looks like my minolta version, the 28-85 3.5-4.5. It also produces somewhat soft images. I was a bit dissapointed because my minolta 50mm f1.7 is very sharp.
