Sigma 70-300 f4-5.6 DG MACRO

Hi,

another macro lens question - I know this one is not TRUE macro, offering 1:2 magnification.

Any experience of it?

I also have my eye on an APO version which I have read is better for reducing chromatic abberation. How does this one fare?
