Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG infrared compatiblity?

Does anyone know if the Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG is infrared compatible? Some lenses cause IR reflections between the elements because of their coating which shows up as a bright spot int he middle of the image (often referred to as a "hot spot")

I'm looking at getting this lens for use with my Nikon D50 and Hoya RM72 for infrared photos.
