Signature gone from the bottom of my comments - Anybody know why?

Its been a little while since I was on TPF but my signature doesnt show anymore when i comment or start a new topic - cant seem to find out why........it's all still there in my settings.

You are no longer allowed a signature that has a link in it. Edit it to remove the link and it will reappear.

Thank you, terri. The Articles of Interest section is perhaps the most useful on this forum, and I don't like seeing it cluttered with crap like this...

The modification that we use to keep spammers from blasting us with links in the sigs was a bit broken. So, i've got it fixed now. You can't have a signature on the site unless you have 10 posts.... but everyone else should show up no problem.

It would probably be better to raise that limit to 30 posts or so. When the 6 posts to post a link limit was instituted, spammers just made 6 stoopid posts in various, often old threads to get their post count up. But thanks for fixing it and telling us what is going on.I hate spammers.

Spammers are going to spam. The idea is to make it harder for them to register.
