The trick with flowers is you need to find an interesting angle and DoF to shoot them at, otherwise they are just another flower shot. =) The first one is a little busy with all the water drops. I like the second one more, because you chose a DoF that made my eye focus on an interesting part of the shot. Here's a link that hopefully inspires you to think a little outside the box!! Keep shooting!!
