Can there be a section where fake blood is allowed?

I posted pictures of a model with fake blood, and for some reason it was deleted and I wasn't notified. I can only assume that it was deleted.

I assume it is becaus equite rightly youngsters look here too, of all ages including ten/12 yras etc and such photographs to me are not needed on a family site

Nudity is one thing, but I wonder why someone would want to post photographs showing a dead woman, unless they are odd

Actually the thread in question, Ballistics sparked off the discussion again about the NSFW/Nudes on the site. In general the administration want to keep the sites open side safe for work and they felt that the topic of the direct display of fake death was not suitable for the site (there was no problem with the fake blood itself).

As a result of the discussion that followed we've managed to get the NSFW/Nudes section re-opened for content such as this and other more risky topics not suitable for all ages/work. For nudity its a fairly easy cut, for subjects such as the one you posted its a little more of a grey area on interpretation as to how far is too far. We don't have a hard and fast rule regarding it.

I will directly ask if the thread in question can be restored to the NSFW/Nudes subsection now that it is restricted access.

For those after more general details please see this thread here:

You've clearly not watched enough crime dramas - fake death is an art in itself in mastering the pose and being a "dummy" on set and not breathing to be seen for the cameras.

I can now confirm that subjects involving more intense blood/gore/ based photographers belong in the NSFW/Nudes section - users are expected to clearly title their threads to inform of content still.

I can also confirm for Ballistics that the thread of his is now restored and in the NSFW/Nudes section

Great news! I always said I would never pay to support a site that doesn't allow artistic nudes. Looks like I'm pulling out the wallet. Thanks!

Outstanding.

Funny how the number of supporting members has suddenly gone through the roof! TPF is going on a shopping spree!
