I tried to see where your focus was, and couldn't use the indicators. I made a few modest adjustments to mostly lighten up the shadows a bit. I think the DOF is thin, and your camera might have focused on something other than her face.

Thanks! I didn't like the 'loudness' from the window, but since I'm on my phone, I didn't have many options to edit it selectively , so I tried to tone it down using an angled tilt shift feature on an edit app. Might be why the focus seems like it can't be pinpointed

It's a nice composition (almost Vermeer). I think Designer's repost does the trick. And definitely prefer the color version.

Window lighting is good stuff and you used it very well.

The image has a nice feel to it, like the B&W version absolutely best.
For me, I'd make a slightly different crop (also because of the tilt/shift I did in post!) and put the window in a perfect - yellow lines - vertical position, plus I'd sharpen/clear the face a bit and let her left hand simply "disappear in the dark" because it's distracting in this composition. But, ofcourse, just my idea...
