Site with free 'royal free' photos of well known tourist attractions?

Hi,

I'm looking for where to go for free 'royal free' photos of well known tourist attractions?

It seems easy to find sites that will charge for photos. However is there a good site that focuses on free photos, royalty free, that you can use however? My thinking was for famous tourist attractions there must be so many photos people take and wouldn't mind making available, however where to go for these?

On a separate note. Royalty free does not mean free to do with as you please. Make sure you read the EUA before you purchase stock photos

Royalty-free also doesn't mean you don't have to pay to use the photo., it just means you only pay one time.

I was interested if there is a site that exists that provides "free" (no cost), royalty-free, available for any-use, photos?

One use case might be looking for a photo of the Eiffel Tower for example, download it, and then you can use it however you want without having to worry. With highly photographed sites & tourist photos I thought perhaps someone might have created such a site...

Morguefile (I'm a mod on the forum, there) photos are royalty-free. You can use them for commercial if they are part of an original creative work; you can not use them as stand alone, i.e. - sell them as prints.
