Can others edit my Photos

I am having a lot of fun posting on this site and to continue the fun i thought i'd post a picture of my wife i took the other night when i was just messing around with d200.

This was shot with the tv as a fore light and a variable intensity light as the back light set very low. I did an exposure of roughly 30 seconds.

What do you guys think?

I'm going to chime in here before someone says it's too dark or underexposed and say that this is beautiful and it couldn't be better. The title sleeping beauty contradicts slightly though. It does imply a brighter image. I get a whole different feeling when viewing this one.

Thanks for the kind words... i didn't know what else to title it so if you have any ideas let me know

I like it too. Good use of interesting light and color! :)

it's dark, but beautiful.
there's a sense of bliss.
great job

I agree with everyone else. It is very beautiful because of its simplicity. It evokes the highest level of repose, serenity, and tranquility.

It needs to be dark and underexposed, otherwise, it would ruin the atmosphere and mood. Indeed, she is a beauty.

Very well done!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I will pass them along to my wife. It was a fun shoot. I shot this photo with just the tv casting the small amount of fore light and a small varible light on the right side of the photo. I also used a red filter over the lens because i was shooting it with the mind set for black and white but this looked better then the black and white version.

Thanks
-Derek
