I think the flash took away any sort of grunge look you might have been going for. Maybe try setting the camera on the floor/small tripod, and do a long exposure of it in the dark or a very dim light.

There is honestly nothing of merit in this image other than MAYBE a slightly interesting subject that doesn't seem like it would ever make a good picture.
