This is Slug. He works at a coffee shop near my apartment that I frequently spend time editing photos at when I need a change of scenery. He's very friendly, which made it easy for me to eventually ask him if he would be interested in modeling for me. He's never modeled before, but he was very enthusiastic about the experience.

Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 lens, natural light and a silver reflector.

These are amazing! I don't know how you get these folks, not only to agree to model when they're complete novices, but to tease out facial expressions, relaxed postures, and simple movements that make such compelling portraits. This is a terrific set - simple lighting and casual poses.

You've made him look like a pro! I bet he's pretty happy with these. :lol:

Thank you. Honestly he was a natural and took direction well. Made it very easy for me.
 
I like the pictures. Thread title looks like a command, though.
 
Great set! I noticed a few of these are shooting up. Love #2 best
