Small water fall through a dam. Please C&C

I'm made first attempt at snapping a water fall, how ever small it may be.

Both were shot at ISO 100, 1/3s, F22 with a CPL. I think it would be nicer to have had the ability to have a longer shutter time, but that was as far as I could go without overexposing it. I think I now also realize why ND filters would be useful in these situations even though the CPL knock me down a couple of stops.

Looking at the trees in the far background...I'm assuming they are a little fuzzy because of the 1/3s shutter time, but it also was a little on the windy side. I tried taking some pics of some water fowl at 600mm, but that wasn't working too good since the wind was shaking the camera.

Yes, it is small. And you made it even smaller I understand there is not enough in it for a slose-up, but still i would have cropped much tighter and would not put it in the center of the frame.

I cropped both pics. The rule of thirds may not have been properly applied :blushing:

you have learned to post a photo, enlarge it, and slow your water down. The shots may not be perfect, but your technique is already advancing.
