This week I had the opportunity to work twice with a whole team!
I'm so excited, people actually want to work with me, and they trust me with the photo part (it does wonder for my ego).

Okay, I'll admit, at first I was a little bit anxious, what if I mess up, what if the whole team ends up not liking the photos, Omg more experienced models move so quick, etc ... But I quickly became at ease, and we all had so much fun!

I'm in love with the result but CC is always welcome.
Keep in Mind that shooting with smoke bomb is a challenge, you can't control the wind and where the smoke is going.

Did you start using a new editing technique? I feel like these have a different look from your usual photos, and the results are really nice. In geek terms, it seems like you've leveled up.

#1 is my favorite, but they're all good. The light really highlights her beauty, and the color toning is perfect on her skin. I think you could reduce the vibrancy of the purple just a little bit to a slightly more pastel tone. The retouching on the skin looks a bit overdone to me. I think even after retouching, a model's skin should still have pores and creases, otherwise it tends to look very fake. Also keep in mind that if there was a makeup artist on the team, they may not be able to use some of these if the face is overly retouched. What do you usually do for skin retouching?

That anxiety before an important shoot doesn't go away. It's a clear indicator that you care about the photos and want to do your absolute best. I'd love to see you do more testing with agency models. Getting talented and beautiful models in your portfolio will help you book more high end jobs, and that's a fact. Even better if you keep collaborating like this, because it shows potential clients that you are experienced with models and with working as a team.

Thank you, I use the Lara Jade retouch Workflow, its saves me time and the results are better, I did my clean and healing on small imperfection and then I painted on the skin but still keeping the texture. 100% opacity 4-9% flow, after i dodge and burn, contouring her face with my pen. A gradiant map mode overlay black and white opacity 10%, sharpen a little, and overall correction in lightroom after . Total 8min of editing. XD I'm laughing my ass off, i used to spend so much time on photos. I probably didnt need to paint on her skin here, she does have a flawless one. But I still have a nice skin texture on my tiff, maybe I need to sharpen more the jpeg ?

On a small image like the web-sized images here, I think skin smoothing is often un-needed. Too much smoothing takes away the sense of detail once the image is reduced in size to 960 pixels tall. People have different ideas about how much skin smoothing is desirable: somewhere between none, and a lot.
