Smoke Genie

Shot this backlit by a tungsten incandescent bulb, w black velvet background. Just blew out the candle, and shot the smoke, f/2.8, 1/200 sec. Shopped out the upper part of the smoke column, and simply grayscaled the image, no channel mixer. Other than that, no retouches or morphing ... it was pure luck and magic. Right instant in time.
