This is nice, his squinting, the dirt around his nose, the amounts of smoke, parts of that "monster"! Everything's so good about this photo! But then --- OF COURSE it is! Who took it???

Thanks for the comments everyone - I appreciate the feedback! These traction engine enthusiasts have a lot to put up with - coal, smoke, heat, trapped fingers, noise - yet they always seem to be smiling. Their hobby must be very therapeutic, even if the smoke does get in the way quite a lot.

Thanks Dani, Mary, Chris, Chris & Rachelsne. The old guy on the old machine in B&W does have a look of the past about it Rachelsne. I've had a lot more positives than negatives about the border I use Chris, but ultimately the only person I'm out to please with it is me
