Sneaked in the previous night & camped out in a camoflage bivy!

Seriously though I found a spot where the fence is in a depression with an elevated bank on the "public" side. Puts the viewer eye at runway ground level.

Only downside is that you can't see the tarmac.

I gotchya. But I think not seeing the runway makes this shot cooler.

I agree. The only thing that bothers me is the ground horizon line isn't level.

Compression looks kind of fierce here, but all in all this is quite a nice one! What a priviledge to be so close to an airport! ENVY HERE :meh:.

(No worries, it is not as bad as I made it sound ).

And I thought you'd show us some smoke rising from a grassy ground (like a meadow burning, for example) - but I did not expect a photo like THIS.
