Snail Kite..flight shots

[EricD]

Well the Wetlands has been a little crowded the last couple of weeks due to the arrival of this Juvenile (Female) Snail Kite.
Made a quick loop around the Wetlands, didn't take long to spot this hovering raptor! Winds were very strong with the approaching cold front which made some nice flight shots!

Ooo, very nice detail E. A little bit much on the fill I think. Bring your blacks up a bit and the first couple will be stellar!

I love these shots. It shows a lot of skill in sharpness and depth of field and just great steady camera skills. Great action and one beautiful bird. Nice Eric!
